View Full Version : My Replaced Phone MUCH louder

Sent my phone for repairs cause I was dissapointed with battery life.
Of course they only replace it......but the volume (especially on the external speaker) is much better.....thankfully.

I wonder if your old one had something wrong or if your new oe is just louder.

That's great!

I wonder if this is a hardware or software change. Are they maybe making the newer ones with louder speakers or is this some in-house software update soon to be released to everyone? Or maybe you just knocked loose a clogged ball of wax, hehe. =P

My iPhone is getting repaired right now. If I get a new one I will let you guys know if the volume is louder or not. Then we will know if they are making new iPhones with louder volume.

well the speaker phone on mine is still useless. i dont have one basically.

yeah, well I actually had an earlier iPhone that had decent speaker strength....got it exchanged for my 2nd one which was the one with very weak speaker strength.
So this, my 3rd is the one with returned speaker power
There seems to be varying batches with issues.
it somewhat surprises me with Apple but I'd say quality control has not been ideal in the release of this product.

especially since they used 2 different types of screens as well that had noticeable differences. i just havent bothered with taking it back because everything else on it is working fine. i'm afraid if i get it replaced that the new one will have something else wrong with it.

It may just be my imagination, but mine seems louder after the second software update.

Thats awesome for you. I took it over to the store to get it looked at, mine is quiet in relation to previous phones, the apple guy said that I have one of the louder phones LOL , comical.
