What you need:
-Windows XP or Vista computers with iTunes 7.3 or 7.3.1.
- The iPhone software update package
- iTunesMobileDevice.dll
- The Windows version of Ziel's Jailbreak
- A custom ringer that you would like to install

Instructions to find these will follow.

For the latest version of iTunes:

iPHONE SOFTWARE UPDATE PACKET
Plug in your iPhone, and go to iTunes. Then hit the Restore button. *NOTE* You are NOT restoring your iPhone. Confirm that you do want to restore (even though you don't) by hitting Restore.
Now unplug your iPhone from your computer. After the Download status bar reaches 100% it has been fully downloaded to your PC.

Go to your START MENU and press RUN.


Now type the following in the RUN field.
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates


Press OK.
Heres what you will get:



]You'll have to turn on file extension display by going to the Tools menu -> Folder Options -> View tab -> Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types".
it would be totally different on vista!!!... cause of the application data dir
