1- What were your expectations of the iPhone and did the phone live up to your expectations??
I expected a great Apple product that made using music and photo features easy and enjoyable. I expected it to be far cooler than my treo or any other phone I'd owned in the past. I expected it (since it has no hard buttons) to be flexible and have the ability to grow and change with updates. I was not disappointed with it in any of those ways.
2- What feature(s) do u enjoy most on the phone??
I love the iPod and photo features. When I'm out and someone asks me about tattoos I have over a hundred pictures of the work I"ve done in an easy ind interesting format, and a calendar right there to make them an appointment.
3- Have u encountered any problems with the phone?? If so, what types of problems??
I seem to have way too many duplicate contacts. Sometimes I have a hard time sending mail and I've totally given up sending mail from my Yahoo account.
4- Do u consider the phone to be a "fad" or a new useful form of technology that will be around for a while??
Do you consider the iPod a fad? I think the iPhone will change the way we see phones the way the iPod changed the way we see portable music players.
5- Did u rush to purchase the phone within the 1st week that it was relased or did you purchase it some time after??
I waited nine hours in line on iDay and was number 21 in a line of over a hundred people. I made new friends that day and the Deaf guy I interpreted for who was next to me in line drops by the shop and says hello now and then.
6- Were u aware of any waiting list 4 the phone and were u on any of them??
Waiting? What does that mean? When I want something I want it NOW.
7- How much did you purchase the phone for??
6 hundred something? (639? something like that. 8g at full price)
8- Did u consider the phone to be a "must have"? If so, what attracted u 2 the phone 2 make u feel that way??
It was a must-have for me! If it has a usb cable, or a cd to load drivers, or a screen of any kind I want it!
Now here's some unsolicited feedback: I'm not sure you're really "doing an article" because I've never seen a real writer use a lower-case u in place of the word "you". I don't enjoy that, my 14 year old daughter texts me that way. It's just two more letters, the Y and the O, you'll be a better writer if you use them.
