They sick to it pretty well, but I wouldn't recommend going more then a few days without taking it off and wiping the phone and case down. I haven't had any specific issues, but I just don't think any case is impervious to dust and debris working its way in.
I personally take the case off every day when I get home. I'm like you in that I'd prefer to not have to use a case at all.
