I think my expectations were just too high for it when I watched it for the first time, and that caused me to not like it. I'm kinda with Coasts on this one, if I see a young "thug" wearing a Scarface shirt I puke a little in my mouth.

I dont understand the whole Scarface thing when the closest thing to cocain and other hardcore drugs they've seen is on TV. (for some)
Either way not to offend anyone, but in florida its a majority of african american people who idolize Scarface. For what? i cant understand...must be part of that whole "get rich quick and kill whatever impedes that."
I saw the movie it wasnt that great...all i pretty much noticed was that back in those times Miami/Ft.Lauderdale was pretty much all drug money. Especially the houses/high rises in Las Olas, and Miami beach some of which are still standing today. I forget what documentary it was but the narrator mentions something about drug dealers purchasing land, and building high rises and condos as well as banks...most of that stuff is still here and about how cops were just as bad.
