In there it should tell you how to jailbreak any ipod touch including 2nd generation and iphone 3g. It will also provide you with links to files you need. You will need the ipod touch 1g 3.0 software which it has a link for. Follow the guide and you should be fine. Yes you will still be able to do copy and paste and everything else that comes with 3.0 software if you follow that guide.
