Have you checked to make sure your PC is autorized to be running your account? I had the same problem but in reverse, I couldnt sync my ipod touch because my PC wasnt autorized. If it isnt do this:

Store --> Autorize Computer
Then put in your iTunes user/pass
Then try again.
