I disagree. I've owned almost every smartphone out there. The iPhone has been more stable so far (had it since iDay) then every other smartphone I've used. It doesn't have all the functions in the world, but the one it does have work great. That's not being released too early, that's called proper design. The hardest thing in designing a product (I do product planning for software products) is to decide what not to put in. And that's what makes the difference between a product that excels at it's task and one that's bloatware.

It obviously was not ready for prime time. Apple over promised and under delivered. There are so many shortcomings with this product. Watch the next few weeks for all the other people speaking up about their disappointment.
