I believe the problem is to do with certain types of recurring appointments not having an 'end date'. I really haven't got a clue what the icon with a person is (see above), but the problem appears to be related to that type of Recurring Meeting.
Anyway;

Once you have done this for all your events which do not have an End Date, I think you will be able to Sync as normal. I think you only need to do this for the type of event described above - ie the one with the 'person' icon.

Lets see if Apple work this out...

All the best ..as far as I know, I am the first to work it out ...you heard it here first.
Haven't even told my superiors yet

Sad to say this didn't work for me.

I have iPod Touch 2nd gen, latest software. Trying to sync to Outlook 2003 for calendar and contacts on Windows XP Professional machine. Everything else I'm syncing on my iMac at home. Was able to sync fine, til suddenly last month calendar entries completely disappeared from my Touch. Luckily, they remained in Outlook. My contacts seem to be fine on both ends. Also note, though, that syncing both calendar & contacts seems to take forever, which wasn't the case before this problem with Calendar.

I contacted Apple, who took me through their recommendations (same as in their support document) but with no luck. they concluded it must be an outlook problem but I can't figure it out 'cuz it worked before. Reinstalled Outlook which didn't do anything. Was, though, able to sync a test entry using a different user log-in.

Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated as calendar sync was a major excuse for my buying my iPod Touch!!!!
