is it the iphone 1g, or the new 3g that just came out ??? if its the 1st iphone,, find out what firmware is on it,, then R.E.A.D. a how to restore your iphone back to 1.1.3 firmware in itunes((which well erase everything, so it'll be like havin a brand new iphone)) then download a program called ZiPhone.. this well unlock & jailbrake your new iphone so u can use any sim card & use 3rd party apps....
