It seems to me that on Apple Mail (and maybe Outlook--it's been so long since I used it that I don't remember how it works), when you reply to an email, you can choose the email address that you want to use to send the reply. But I can't imagine how they would work on the iPhone.
Yes, but only for accounts that you have set up as either an IMAP or POP. In my instance, I simply forward a number of accounts to my Gmail account. So, in theory, there is no IMAP or POP associated with said account. It really is more of an alias, except to the sender.
