I agree with Ramesh. Everything I've seen on this, including the excerpts quoted above, says to me that Exchange / push support costs extra.

MobileMe will be the one-time (low-ish) fee push option at $99/year vs. $180 extra per year for the Exchange plan. Not a bad little way to gain some traction for 'Exhange for the rest of us'. Wont' make a difference for those in big corporate environments, but for individuals and small biz ...
