Like Psylichon said, make sure you clear the download queue first and try again. If you've indeed reached the limit of your application partition and you don't have Bosstools installed already, uninstall one or more applications and install Bosstools. Using Bosstools, check how much space you still have on the application partition and move fonts first. If you see a change in the size of the application partition,
then move your applications. Good luck!
