I was going to let this thread die because I found one with a similar method posted in this forum.Before I posted all this I searched to see if there was anything on this, but I must not have used good keywords because later I found that KNK had posted the same basic steps but he used a free program called audacity to prepare the clips. Now I am using this program also because it allows you to fade in or out making the clip sound better. It adds a few more steps and another program but you can do it for free either way. This all started because the song I wanted as a ringtone was not offered by iTunes. Does anyone know if there is a way to share these newly made ringtones on this forum?????? Kind of like the wallpapers?
