Flipboard for the iPad is a free app (iTunes link), which pulls information from all your social media feeds, into a magazine like format. It doesn’t just take Twitter posts and Facebook status updates, and assemble them in a pretty layout, it also pulls linked articles and content.

Just from a purely design perspective, this app looks incredibly impressive. If it’s as seamless as the video suggests, the app is an utterly gorgeous way of pulling all the cool information your friends think you should check out, into one perfect package.
Now, if only I owned an iPad…
