Generally jailbreaking is a pretty benign activity, and most legit apps work happily on a jailbroken device. However, Cult of Mac reports that Flipboard has added a warning to jailbreakers in their most recent update:
“Warning. Your iPad appears to be jailbroken. This may cause bugs, crashes or other unpredictable behavior.”
Explaining the warning on the company blog, Flipboard said:
[W]e mention it only because Jailbroken iPads can cause conflicts with Flipboard and we can’t offer support for all those variations.
At this point, users aren’t complaining of any instability on jailbroken devices, so I wonder if this isn’t something of a boilerplate warning, and will become more common among devs in order to cover their bases.

Sounds like a cop out of providing support. JB is legal, they should code better then.
