FedEx Preparing for ‘Surge’ on September 21-24, coincides with rumored iPhone 5 release date

The busiest time of year for FedEx are the holidays and Apple iPhone or iPad launches. Only one is rumored for late September, so word that FedEx is preparing for surge volumes on September 21st through September 24th could mean one thing, an iPhone 5 release.

Not only are carriers implementing a vacation blackout, but now we have FedEx limiting employee travel and training. With the September 12th date official, it only stands to reason that whatever gets announced next week will see a release date shortly thereafter. This could mean that pre-orders could go up sometime next week.

When they come to your door, ask you to sign here! Yu do so without reading the fine print and you never can remember what the person looked like after they leave. Gosh, I love to get a new iPhone on launch day.
