It’s a tradition that for every (American) holiday, EA will drop the price on a handful of games, if only to rescue your sanity from spending time with your family. However, this time they’ve outdone themselves, dropping the price on dozens of games to just $0.99, in an enormous 4th of July sale.
There are more than three pages of discounted apps on AppShopper, so that means that EA has more than 45 apps available on the sale. That includes major franchises like Tetris, AAA titles like Need for Speed and the Sims, boardgames like Battleship and Monopoly, and an awful lot more. Hell, if you wanted to go all in, you can pick up all of them for less than $50, and never be bored again.
Update: EA has just put up an official announcement about the sale, and apparently it’s for all EA games. Woohoo!
