We first heard word of the daylight savings time alarm bug with New Zealand and Australia, a bug that Apple promised to fix with iOS 4.1.1. Now Europe has changed their clocks by an hour, and the alarm clock problem is hitting them, too.
The problem is that even though the clock adjusts properly for the hour behind change, the alarms do not, so they go off an hour after they’re meant to. It only affects repeating alarms that are not set to “every day”, so “every Thursday” or “every weekday” ones will be hit.
With the USA ready to set their clocks back by one hour in just under a week, we hope this gets fixed promptly.

I live in Dallas and this started on Sunday morning. I woke up at 6:30 not 7:30. I looked at the alarm and it said 7:30 and was still on so I went back to sleep. it never went off at 7:30 and a coworker had to call me and wake me up. needless to say I was late for work. Thanks Apple.
