Here’s something I thought I’d never see — a video game starring action movie star Danny Trejo, and beloved Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Danny Trejo’s Vengeance: Woz with a Coz is set to launch for iOS around Thanksgiving (so in the next week.)
We don’t know an awful lot about the game, but apparently Woz’s wife Janet has been kidnapped, and it’s up to the pair to rescue her in an 8-bit action platformer.
According to Engadget both Woz and his wife offered up their likenesses on a voluntary basis for the game, including doing voice work. I’m pretty sure that this qualifies as the first time Woz has made a digital appearance in an iOS game — and he’s a playable character, too!

In “Woz with a Coz” on iOS, the Apple co-founder and his wife, “J-Woz,” are enjoying their evening together, taking a glide. Unfortunately, their otherwise quiet evening is ruined — not by a competitive product release — but rather by street thugs kidnapping “J-Woz”!!! Your dynamic duo of Steve and Danny must hurry and swing into action as they tear up Fusion City in their quest to rescue “J-Woz,” and maybe cause a little mayhem on their way…
Well, it’ll be interesting at least.
