The legal battle between Samsung and Apple continues, and interesting information continues to leak. The most recent content of note is a series of documents found by AllThingsD which show exact numbers of sales between both the manufacturers — from 2010 to present.
It’s kind of astonishing just how much the numbers are stacked in Apple’s favor. Samsung has sold 21 million phones since 2010 — Apple has sold 86 million. Not only that, but the tablet situation shows an even larger discrepancy — Apple has moved 34 million iPads since launch, Samsung just 1.4. That’s 24 times as many iPads as Samsung Galaxy Tabs.
You can see more of the documents here, and all that data geeks in the house can dive into them if they so desire. Like that Apple brings in $560 in revenue for every iPad and $590 in every iPhone, and Samsung brings in on average $353 for every phone and $448 for every tablet.
