Power Support Crystal Jacket Set

Tried 3 different cases including the ISee and Belkin slipcases. Power case offers both protection and usability. The problem I had using a slipcase was that my iphone was not protected once I removed it to use it (ie belkin case). I almost dropped it once when I was trying to remove it from my slipcase.

I wanted something that I could easily gain access my iphone while still protected. I tried ISee next. It did protected my iphone when i was using it however it was so thick that it made my thin iphone look more like the 1st generation ipods (thick). So I tried this product and have love it with no regrets.

To boot it also gives you a screen protector that is clear and thin that no one knows that it on. I have used this product for over two months and have no complaints. Once I drop my phone from waist level onto cement and my phone didnt get any damage or dents.

Here are some things you would want to know. The case is not easy to open; so don't plan on opening on regular basis. This may be an issue to those people who plan on using iphone docking to connect to your iphone (just use your iphone cable to connect directly to your computer instead). Once and a while you probably will want to open case to clean the inside since debris tends to get inside the case (a weakness of all shell type case).

The one future improvement that could be made to this product is making the case somehow convert into a stand so that you can watch ur iphone without having to holding it.

I have had this case for about a week. i did good amount of research and it was between this and the contour showcase. i chose this because the apple store didnt have any of the other.

The case is tough and seems like it could hold to a drop or two. although the clear case shows off the phone itself, it also shows dirt that gets trapped between the case and the phone. the holster is a good feature, although i rarely use it ither than to clip the phone to my sun visor in the car. it is VERY hard to open and have scuffed some of the silver backing trying to pry it open.

Overall a good phone, but may get another if i find a better case.

Had it clipped to my pants and it sprung loose while getting out of my car. It took the blow when hitting the pavement, but the clam shell opened up, dumping the phone onto the pavement. The padding of the black plastic is cracked on both corners. The plastic sheet covering the glass seems to work well, but the plastic case is rock hard (so probably doesn't absorb much impact) and slippery (more likely to slide out of a shirt pocket. Also, the clip part is in an awkward position that doesn't allow a viewable position when sitting on a table for example, so you have to take it out if using it while eating for example. Looking for another case....

This is a little bit sleaker than the Belkin clear case with holster and some fo the others. I really wanted something that was as invisible as possible and did not make the phone thicker than need be. I liked the incase rubber ones, but really wanted a holster.

The two parts of the hard clear case are thin, but not flimsy, even though they come apart a tad too easily. I had wanted to make the phone less "slippery"-this is still smooth but less metal slippery, if you know what I mean. In a week, the plastic is already getting fine scratches.

I have not applied the film for the screen, but will try it soon.

The holster is very sturdy feeling, and relatively easy to insert and extract. The "pincher" is very large and hold thick belts. It swivels, but does not act as a stand. There are no logos or distracting shapes, so overall does a nice job being "unseen"

Of course you have to not use dock and just use the usb cable, but that is fine, since I mainly used the dock to keep phone from getting scratched while sitting on desk flat, and the case now serves that function. It will sit in holster in any direction-screen in or out.

I really like this case, light and does the job well. It securely holds the iPhone and protects it. My issue is with when snapping the case back into the holster, it catches on the left most corner and pulls the case apart. I have to pull up on the corner of the carrying case to get it to go over the plastic case. Other then that it works great.
