This case is great because you can use the phone, charge it or add earphones without ever taking the phone out of the case. You can access the touch screen without difficulty. It snaps shut easily and is attractive as well as useful. It is a little expensive but otherwise it is a good buy.

I was ready to return this 30 seconds after opening it. The case is so tight that the sides flare outward defeats the protection by exposing the chrome. The leather feels quite cheap considering the cost. The clip is too stiff to use on a belt (I think I would have ripped my pants off trying to answer the phone) and adds to much bulk to be comfortable in a pocket.

Purchased the Incase leather for my iPhone on June 30th at the Apple Store, an hour and a half away. The case was bowed out on the right side, the cut out for the button on the bottom was bulged out on the right side and the cutout for the volume control covered up the top portion of the volume control. Ok. SO I drove back to the store again, intending to get a replacement. Perhaps this particular case was defect. I opened up two other packages, and each was sewn defectively.

Overall, a good design concept, and the clip allowed me to get it out of my pocket, where I was concerned about car keys or change scratching it. I went with a Belkin case for the time being. Incase could be good, but i would recommend checking the manufacturing first, especially for the price.

I bought this case because on Day #1 I dropped my iPhone on the concrete (yes, I am an idiot). The phone was fine but now it has a minor scratch on the side. It is a decent leather case but way over-priced ($34.00 at my Apple Store). It does the primary job of protecting the sides of the iPhone but it is very bulky. After using it for 1 week, here are my principal observations:

  1. When using the keyboard near the edges, the cover gets in the way.

  2. I don't need the belt clip or rear loop clips, too bad they can't be removed.

  3. All buttons are still accessable (this is a good thing)

I hate to throw a cloud over the love-on for this case but watch out. Last night I took out the garbage in the dark and came in. A few minutes later I noticed by iPhone gone! My wife called the phone and I wandered around the house...no where. Went to the care...nope. Heard it ringing outside and found it lying in the grass. The clip does not really fit well over today's belts. The little nob on the clip does not give enough room to clip itself over the belt. I guess it think it failed the test of real-live usage. I am afraid to use this as my primary case and will be getting something else. Sorry. I cannot risk this happening again.
