not for me

This is the first case that I bought for my iphone 3g and I did not use it at all. Although the case was made well I found it to be a bit thick for my liking. It made the iphone seem noticeably larger. I also did not like the fact that the top of the phone is not covered when in this case. With this case if you would also have to purchase a screen protector separately if that is something that is important to you. Overall I think it is a good sturdy case that protects the iPhone well I personally just did not like the look and feel of it.

well done

After getting the 3G I was looking in the Apple Store for this but they didn't have it. Went to the AT&T store and saw it. Said this looks just like my Casemate Signature for the 2G phone with no belt clip.

The box was AT&T but when I bought it and opened it, there it was Casemate. It even had the same glass protector as before.

That Signature Case saved the 2G a couple of times. And when I sold it although the case had worn down from all the use, it had done the job. There wasn't a scratch on it, when I sold it.

This case is even better with the top curved tight and holds the iPhone perfectly. That hard leather case feels great and provides the protection I want without the bulk.

A very nice mixture of design and function. Very happy with it.

Beautiful, but not form fitting

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful

I have been doing a lot of looking online for cases. I was going to hold out for the incase slider, but was getting inpatient and wanted to protect my baby. I loved the look of this case so I said what the heck. I just received it today and love the look and feel of the case. It seems to be made from quality products. The screen protector is a nice bonus. The problem I have is the phone sits a little funny in the case. Almost like it is tighter on one side than the other. Reception has NOT been affected being in the case. Overall, I am a little disappointed and may still go with the slider case when it comes out later this month.

Nice case overall, phone sits crooked in case

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful

I've had an iPhone 3G now for about 2 weeks and have been waiting for a case/holster combo. The day I saw this on Case-Mate's website I immediately ordered it. While the case did not disappoint, very secure while in holster, protects screen and phone very nicely. However, I'm not sure if my case is defective or not but while my iPhone is in the case it sits slightly to the left. Other than that, very good case overall.

Very impressive case, worth the 30 bucks.

As soon as I thought about standing in line at ATT on saturday morning, I made the decision to get a case. Luckily, in ATT they had a few cases, especially this leather Case-Mate case that just stood out to me.

The case fit the iPhone 3G like a glove. The top is angled in a little to help keep it from slipping out accidentaly. It comes with a screen protector the size of the screen and a cloth to clean the screen with. So far it seems to keep it shape, and people really are impressed by it.

I have never spent more than 10 bucks on a case before this one. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I highly suggest this case.
