The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

This is my first case for the 3G. I keep my phone in my pocket, not on some belt-holster rig, so I wanted something that covers the face of the phone as well as the back, but didn't want to hide the beauty of the phone itself. The Good: Full 360 degree protection - very few other cases offer this (the Xylo does) Good Fit - all ports/controls accessible Easy in/out of pocket - smooth, no snags, doesn't collect pocket lint Can easily see the Apple logo on the back The Bad: Adds some bulk to phone Have to dig down in to use Power/Sleep button Case not secured together on top of phone The Ugly: The worst thing about this case is the watermark/air bubble problem other reviewers have stated. Starting with a very clean phone and case, there are initially no bubbles. But after holding the phone to your face for a short conversation, the heat from your face causes the watermarks to form under the case face. Also, oil from your cheek sticks to the case and even gets down under the case through the speaker hole. The only thing you can do is to take the phone out of the case and clean both. I learned the "talcum powder" trick. Shake a bottle of talc powder to create a little "cloud" in the bottle. Then hold the top of the case above the bottle and sqeeze a puff of the powder onto the BOTTOM side (the side that touches the face of the iPhone). Repeat a few times, then gently tap the case to remove excess powder. This trick works for a while (a day or so at best) until the bubbles return. Unfortunately, this is driving me nuts. I will probably get the new Griffin Clarifi and use the screen film on the phone face, as I see no way any case that has a face cover would be any different than this one. |

Love it & hate it at the same time!

I love this case and hate it at the same time. I don't like how the air gets in between the case and screen but I'm trying to learn to deal with it. I love how I can use the touch screen through the case and that it protects the entire phone. I agree with the other post, it does make the phone larger but I do like the smoothness of the case that lets it slide in and out of my pocket so much easier than the rubber cases. The front of the case did start to peal away from the rest of the case and the ATT store exchanged it for me...that was why I gave the build quality a 3. |

I luv it

I personally luv this case. It was important to me to protect my iPhone as well as not change the look of the phone and this case does both of these things. The fact that screen is completely protected without preventing the touch screen from functioning sealed the deal for me personally. It is true that some air can get caught between the phone and the case screen it hasn't been a major problem for me. The case gives great protection and doesn't prevent you from being able to see the sleek design of the 3g so I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a case like that. |

Naked Case is a Nuisance
|

It forms bubbles. Tech Support told me to brush it with talcum powder but who wants to view the ipod through talcum powder? If you rub it off, you have to re-apply it every morning. It's worse than having a baby that needs constant attention. Piece of junk, not worth $5.00 |

Naked Case II
|

Cool design, lousy fit. I have the Naked Case II for my v1. Constantly "bubbles-up". They sent a replacement and it still does the same thing. It is a shame, nice design but does not fit well on the touch screen. |
