So far, all the case leaks we’ve seen for the iPhone 5 have come from sketchy little Chinese manufacturers, so we can’t be sure of how accurate they are. Now, BGR has spotted that one of our favorite case makers — Case-Mate — has accidentally put up some of their cases for the iPhone 5.
The iPhone 5 landing page still doesn’t reveal anything, but some of the products specific pages are up. For instance, the iPhone 5 Barely There Brushed Aluminum Cases page is totally open, and judging from the little composite that BGR put together (image at top), it’s not the only one. An additional bit of nosing has revealed the iPhone 5 Safe Skin Emerge and iPhone 5 Gelli.
None of the pages show the iPhone 5 from the front, but what we can gather from this is that the lock switch has migrated to the opposite side of the volume control. It also looks to be thinner, and with tapered edges.
So, thoughts? What do you guys feels about this new look?
UPDATE: More 1, 2, 3. What is that large opening on the left side? Easily accessible SIM slot?

Just saw the post about the leaked screen protector…seems like it is wider which coincides nicely with the “wider” looking cases above.
Hole on left side for……removable storage – blasphemy?

It looks like a shrunken iPad 2, which is fine by me! I like the body of the iPad 2. Gosh this wait is killing me! Why they go and change from summer release to fall?? Damn them!
