It’s always nice when a major gaming franchise hits iOS, but unfortunately there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it. The incredibly popular Borderlands series of games has branched out into the mobile world with Borderlands Legends, a top down action RPG. Unfortunately, the first people who got their hands on the game seem to think it stinks.
Touch Arcade has slammed the title twice, and Slide to Play gave it just 2/4. By all accounts the graphics are mediocre, the gameplay uninteresting, and the AI nonexistent. In other words, a mediocre cash grab entirely removed from the humor and spontaneity that made the original so popular.
