Ugly but functional

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

This headset is if nothing else honest about most of the hype surrounding its design. A co-worker of mine bought one and called me from inside a noisy computer room. I called him a liar since I could not hear the normal background noise. I had to have one for my iPhone. Bad mistake. Its EXTREMELY uncomfortable to wear for more than just a few minutes. Its not unlike having a monkey on your shoulder with his finger in your ear.

If they could only take the internals of this headset and combine them with the size of the Apple bluetooth headset, I'd pay $200.

Best Headset

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful

IMO this headest is definitely best in it's class. In fact I can even wear the headset w/o using the ear loops while walking thru Downtown's Seattle's hills. The sound is clear, in fact while in Starbucks surrounded by 20-30 people talking, and my finance on the other line didn;t even hear them, all she heard was "faint background noise". I've had no problems with charging the unit. It even works with the PS3 system for Gameplaying online. My only gripe with the headset is the lack of buttons. I purchased mine online for $86 shipped. For me, the noise canceling portion sold me. The only caveat is that it is susceptible to wind. But not any more so than any other headset.

Poor headset, good sound

0 of 1 people found the following review helpful

The headset is, to put it bluntly, a clumsy attempt to wrap an excellent electronics into poorly designed wrapper. For its selling price, the mechanical part of the headset has unforgivable quirks. It's hinge is *very* loose, loose enough to *clicketty-clack* into your ear as you walk.BAD mojo! It is clumsy when folded or unfoded, presenting a serious problem of carrying it in any way other than on the ear. The ear loop is loose and the headset detaches and clutters arround with even a slightest head movement. BAD! The charger cable I had basically wouldn't hold the headset attached for charging. The rubbery plastic is *so* flimsy it was unusable unless I had a wire-tie around it to add the pressure to the are which holds the headset "clicked-in". BAD! And, this one is a doozie, headset doesn't have a "hangup-confirmation" tone, so you run a real chance of thinking you hung up on someone (one press) while in reality you haven't. Minutes fly by... BAAAAD! The button is *so* hard to press it took me several rounds of self-reassuring that I need to press it even harder to turn on/off the headset as well as pick/hang it up.

BAD, BAD.

,p>Is the best I've used thus far, but could be louder based on my comparison to the Bang Olfsen $350 BT.
