Tales from the App Store Approval Process: iPhone Books cannot contain the word iPhone
It’s been awhile since we’ve had to report on Apple’s App Store approval process, but they’ve certainly made up for lost time with this doozy. Jason Snell, Macworld Editor, informs us via Twitter that his book about the iPhone has been rejected by Apple. Reason you say? Well, it contains the word iPhone.

According to Snell, he was told the reason why he received a rejection:
You can’t show an iPhone or even use the word iPhone in the icon.
Odd because David Pogue’s very excellent iPhone book did not meet the same fate.
