iTunes Moves Into Music Movies

Apple has rolled out a new “Music Movies” page on iTunes, filled with back stage videos, concerts, documentaries, musicals, and films with a strong music link (think Staying Alive). The movies’ purchase price ranges from $5-$15, in general. According to Billboard.biz, Apple is also trying to get rights to music related content before it comes on DVD. If Cupertino succeeds in this endeavour, it will be interesting to see if they try and arrange something similar for feature films. Being able to get a movie on iTunes before it hits DVD is one less reason to even think about leaving the house.
