Giant Illegal Boston iPod Ad Disappears
Remember the oversized ad on the side of a storage building in Boston? The one that was semi-legal at best, and was only allowed because of some rather dodgy sounding dealings, and a special exemption? Well, six months into its year long special permission, it’s now gone. Massachusetts is known for disliking huge billboards on the sides of highways, and it appears the exact reason this advertisement was illegal was because it showed objects not sold on the premises of the building. The actual reason for it being taken down isn’t noted, though we imagine it’s due to the huge amount of negative publicity that surrounded the advertisement when the back-room dealings came to light.

Minor nitpick: the ad is for the iPod Touch, not the iPhone.
