Condé Nast Becoming Tablet Compliant, Even Though It Might Not Exist
Either publishing giant Condé Nast is in on some information we’re not, or else they’re making a big gamble (or maybe just trying to raise some publicity), but they’ve publicly declared that their magazine Wired will be iTablet compatible by mid-2010. This number gels with recent reports about when the device might come out, but it’s still officially rumor. Condé even admit that Apple isn’t saying anything about the device.
The magazines will be formatted like the recent GQ app, so content will be available in both regular format, and device specific, and be each issue will sold separately.
It’s a lot to have riding on something that doesn’t even exist officially.
