BigBoss Releases Semitether Jailbreak

While we wait for a full untethered iOS 5 jailbreak, BigBoss has released a Semitethered Jailbreak. If your phone loses power, SemiTether will allow you to still boot your phone. You’ll have access to SMS and the ability to make calls. You know, things you have to do with a phone.

SemiTether supports the following:

  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 3GS
  • iPod touch 4th generation
  • iPod touch 3rd generation
  • iPad 1

To install, simply launch Cydia, tap on Manage > Sources > Edit and then add this repo: http://thebigboss.org/semitether
