On of the true classics of late-90s RPGs has finally officially transitioned to the iPad. That’s right, the long-awaited Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is finally live in the App Store, with a $9.99 sticker price. This is part of the Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition rollout that’s seen this updated version of the famed title already hit the PC, with Mac and Android launches in the works.
Clocking in at a hefty 1.7GB, the title was first announced in March with a Summer release date, which ended up getting significantly delayed.
Now we just have to see if the old mouse-based interface will work well on the iPad’s touchscreen, and if people have the patience for an 80+ hour game.
