Even before the Verizon iPhone was announced AT&T started taking jabs at big red saying, “The iPhone is built for speed, but that’s not what you get with a CDMA phone. I’m not sure iPhone users are ready for life in the slow lane.”
AT&T continue talking smack today, taking jabs at the newly announced CDMA based Verizon iPhone.
“For iPhone users who want the fastest speeds, the ability to talk and use apps at the same time, and unsurpassed global coverage, the only choice is AT&T.”
Kudos to AT&T for being on point. Simultaneous data and phone usage is not available on Verizon’s CDMA network and GSM is predominant throughout the world. We’re still not sure if we can declare AT&T the fastest just yet.

I can’t believe Verizon wouldn’t come out swinging with this thing. The whole not being able to talk and use apps is absurd.
This is a major issue with the VZ phone as it is one of the exceptional features on the ATT iphone.
They think most wont care….and perhaps you dont miss what you dont know about…but it will severely limit defections to VZ.
