UMPCfever.com posted a story early this morning showing purported pictures of the next-generation iPhone. As is usually the case with spy shots, the pictures are pretty fuzzy, showing mostly the screen without revealing the body of the phone - it’s claimed in the article that the prototype body can’t be revealed. What? Why bother taking spy shots if you can’t reveal the entire item itself, even when you have it in your hand?

At only 2 megapixels and with no zoom capability, the iPhone could never really be considered a respectable tool for a photographer, right?  From a conventional standpoint, I'd agree, but the host of apps available through iTunes allows amateurs and professionals the opportunity to get creative.
