Discouraged by the discontinuation of StarPlayr's Sirius iPhone app project, determined members of our iPhone forums have figured out how to get SiriusXM working on the iPhone. A few months back, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) forced Apple to drop an iPhone ad that boasted of the "real Internet". The ASA claimed the iPhone's lack of Flash contradicted their claim of the real internet. According to the BBC, it appears the ASA has struck again, this time debating Apple's claim of the iPhone being "really fast" and showing pages loading in under a second.
The ASA upheld compliants of 17 people who felt they were misled by the ad. The ad can no longer appear in the same form. Apple said its claims were "relative rather than absolute in nature".
