The rumor mill continues as we lead up to Apple's WWDC and the eventual release of the next generation iPhone(s). Now comes word (via TUAW) that the new iPhone could be named iPhone Video, after receiving an anonymous tip that AT&T's support website will be updated with iPhone Video as one of the model choices. Certainly makes sense to us, considering Apple has used the same naming convention with the iPod when adding video.

This however is a different sort of video. If recent rumors are to be believed, Apple will offer video recording on the next generation iPhone and perhaps even video chat using iChat. Apple doesn't get too crazy with naming conventions. iPhone Video would be a simple way to let consumers know what features they can expect from the new iPhone, in addition to the 16GB and 32GB capacaties.
