Apple "Media Pad" Tablet Coming in 2010

Apple is reportedly working on a "Media Pad" or Apple Tablet that will make it's debut in 2010. The Apple Tablet will usher in a new product that fits between the iPod touch and Apple's Mac Book laptops. The thinking behind the Media Pad is to create a device larger in size that is ideal for watching movies, reading books and for surfing the Internet. It will not be a full scale laptop, as to not cannibalize laptop sales.
Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster believes it will run on a third version of OS X, "more robust" than iPhone but optimized for multi-touch. "We expect the development of such an OS to be underway currently, but its complexity, along with our conversations with a key company in the mobile space, leads us to believe it will not launch until CY10," Munster says.
Is this Apple's answer to netbooks? Will you buy an Apple Media Pad?
