Since the release of the iPhone SDK, there have been rumblings coming from DavaViz about the release of Documents To Go. The app which is also referred to as Docs To Go, allows users to read and edit Office documents on their handheld device. The company makes their product for a wide array of mobile devices and a host of operating systems including the Palm OS, Windows Mobile and the BlackBerry. Now comes word that Documents To Go appears to be close to a release on the iPhone.

The company has created a teaser site saying, "It's Coming. Be the first to know". The teaser does not go into detail, but we'd certainly expect the company to deliver features found in other versions of Documents To Go that include:

• View, edit and create Word 2007 files
• View, edit and create Excel 2007 files
• View, edit and create PowerPoint 2007 files

  As Apple looks to make inroads to enterprise, the inclusion of Docs To Go would be a big boost to those efforts.
