Hottrix, an independent developer who created iBeer, has filed suit against Coors for copyright infringement. Both companies released beer applications on July 11th, however Hottrix claims their app iBeer was designed before iPint which happens to be the Coors version. Hottrix points to a 2007 video that shows the use of the iPhone's accellerometer to pour the virtual beer.

Legal counsel for Hottrix attempted to reach an agreement with Coors, but to no avail. The company then contacted Apple who sided with Hottrix and removed iPint. Hottrix is suing Coors for $12.5 million dollars. You can certainly purchase a fair amount of suds that dollar amount.
