Apple Store Closes Ahead of Spotlight Event

The Apple Store has gone down in preparation for what most expect will be announcements of new notebooks. Images have been leaking througout the Interwebs, most notable have been major changes design to the MacBook Pro.
John Gruber from Daring Fireball has confirmed a "glass trackpad" that is in effect on big button. In addtion to the glass trackpad, Gruber points to the following improvements in the new MacBook Pro and has confirmed photos posted by Engadget are the "real deal".
- A new iMac-style black border around the display.
- A single-piece aluminum frame. No more chintzy plastic trim along the edges and seams.
- No more physical latch.
- MacBook Air-style black keyboard.

The new MacBook Pro screens will only be offered as glossy, thus ending the long standing debate of matte vs. glossy.
Rumors of a sub-$1000 MacBook have also persisted, but there has yet to be any rock solid evidence of such a product.
