A video from Vietnamese site Tinhte.vn via MacRumors proclaims to show new Apple headphones, suggesting a redesign that might accompany the new iPhone 5, rumored for a September release.
The headphones read “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in Vietnam” with some sort of serial number. The site believes the headphones were manufactured at the Foxxcon plant in Vietnam.
All factors such as design, quality finishing materials fabricated wire, plastic body headphones are led to the conclusion this is genuine and not counterfeit headphones.
They claim the design is smaller and will result in a more comfort.

How would those fit?
They Look Good! Very Space-Aged in design. I luv it! @Hondamaker:disqus If you go to the Tinhte.vn link above you can see detailed pictures of these and a comparison of these and the old ones. There is also a pic of how they fit i the ear. If these are the real thing, its a nice change.
I don’t get it. The speaker is on the side of the earphone. The pic on their website shows the earphone in the ear in such a way that the speaker would be pressed against the side of the inside of the ear, muffling the sound. That’s what I’m getting from it. Maybe I’m wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time.
