What typically happens to your spare change? Does it live for an eternity in the cup holder in your car or a jar at home that rarely gets cashed in. Acorn is a radical new app that lets you invest your spare change from purchases. With it, you can create a portfolio that is managed by a team of expert financial advisors. The next time you buy a grande coffee from Starbucks, the spare change can help build a portfolio. Let’s face it, spare change won’t exactly become a retirement fund, but it can help you do more with your money.

Once you invest, Acorn charges you a small $1 per month fee, which seems like a bargain for professional portfolio management. They use the Modern Portfolio Theory to diversify your risk. And if you decide to cash out, there are no withdrawal fees. You can also add money, either on a one-time basis or recurring transaction.

The Walking Dead Pinball

When two things like zombies and pinball come together, it’s hard not to shed tears of joy. The game is inspired by Image Comics version, so you won’t find Rick or Michonne. What you will find are the familiar grunts and groans that can only mean a zombie apocalypse. Join that with realistic pinball play and you’ve got a winner.

You can pick up the game itself or grab the free Zen Pinball app, where you can find all sorts of different boards including Marvel and Star Wars, available as in-app purchases.

As one of the most critically acclaimed first person shooters of all time, Bioshock needs no introduction. After years of spending time in Rapture on consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360, that same experience can now be found on iOS.

Some may raise an eyebrow at the high price of admission, but fans of the classic are more than happy with their purchases.

“This port offers a true-to-its roots version that looks and plays as well as it looks.”

“It’s amazing they were able to port an amazingly detailed game like this to iOS.”

“I cannot believe something of this scale is running on a phone.”

“Pure perfection. I will pay any amount of money to play these games on my phone.”

With support for MFi controllers, Bioshock is yet more evidence of the gaming potential on iOS. Unfortunately, the game is compatible on these devices only: iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad 4, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5.
