Who doesn’t love free iPhone ringtones? While we still prefer to create our own using Ringtonium winner of our best ringtone app for iPhone, you can never have too many options. Music ringtones, crazy funny ringtones, caller ID ringtones, sound effects, guns and more. Normally priced at $0.99, it’s available in the App Store today for free.
Apple’s process for getting ringtones working on your iPhone is a bit convoluted, which is no fault to the developer, as it effects all of the ringtone apps.
Here’s the process:
- Launch the app and browse for a ringtone.
- Once you’ve selected a ringtone, enter your email address.
- On your computer, save the file to iTunes under ‘Tones’.
- Sync to your iPhone.
There are some pretty funny ringtones and from our tests the sound quality is quite good. In particular, the caller ID options are useful and some very funny. “A loser is attempting to reach you on your cellular device“.
