Recently I spent just over a week in Europe with family, and while I definitely didn’t want to rack up a huge roaming bill, I still wanted to be able to use my GPS to find my way around — that’s where I used City Maps 2Go.
City Maps 2Go lets you preload maps onto your iPhone before travelling. Since GPS doesn’t count as data use — even while overseas — as long as you have cellular data turned off, you won’t use a jot of expensive international bandwidth.
While it had some trouble with small town Spain, the maps in general were incredibly accurate, and helped immensely with finding our way around.
