Pro Football Live!
Price: FREE

Consider this your all-access pass to playing catch-up on what you missed on Football Sunday this week. Whenever you need up-to-date stats, standings, scores, schedules, or just cool photos from last night’s game, Pro Football Live! has it covered. This football news app has been in the App Store since 2008, and the updates get better with each season.

Fantasy Football Cheatsheet ’10
Price: $2.99

Just what it sounds like, this app is an extensive cheatsheet to keep track of your Fantasy team throughout the season. Get updates on injuries, team depth charts, and even projections. You can also manage your Fantasy team through the app, with editable settings that are shockingly specific. Manually rank your players using the info in the app, check out your players’ profiles easily, and search and track drafted players.

Rotowire Fantasy Football Draft Kit
Price: $3.99

Yes, you’ve probably already done your initial draft picks for the season. But this app will help you keep tabs on your guys with full background info and statistics, as well as recent news and analysis on your players. You can also edit the app’s settings to give you recommendations and projections based on your league’s rules.

Fantasy Sports Coach
Price: $0.99

Released just this year, Fantasy Sports Coach takes a slightly different approach to the Fantasy Football app arena. Used more as a community forum type of app, users can communicate with other “owners” to get the best advice for their teams on trading, prospects, rookies, and rankings. They can also utilize the app to just engage in the beloved sport of hassling other owners. The app also extends to baseball, basketball, and hockey Fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Football Monster ’10
Price: $2.99

Monster gets points simply for its awesome design and ease of use, if not also for being a pretty well-rounded Fantasy app. Use the drag-and-drop method to literally drop players from your lineup, get updated news and stats on a weekly basis, and manage both your ESPN and Yahoo! Fantasy leagues together in one app. The ESPN and Yahoo! apps themselves haven’t seen great reviews this year or last, so best to go with one like this that can host both leagues simultaneously.
