In what’s one of the most unfortunate pieces of timing imaginable, Apple released a new ad touting the Do Not Disturb feature on iOS on the same day as the service fell to a significant bug. So, while many users found that Do Not Disturb wasn’t working for them, Apple advertised it in a new ad with the Williams sisters.
The ad stars Venus and Serena Williams in a table-tennis match against the narrator, taking place in a dream that he does not want interrupted. It’s a pretty well put together ad, but the fact that it came out just as Do Not Disturb was making the news for bugging out is just horrible luck.
