This has been a crazy quarter for Apple. Despite heavy sales, AAPL has fallen substantially since its high in late October. Which means that this quarter’s earnings call will be watched like a hawk for some firm numbers about how well sales have actually been.
Apple quietly announced the newest earnings call by updating its Investor Relations page, and the call will take place at 2PM Pacific time, on Wednesday, January 23.
Some are expecting large numbers from Apple, but it does always seem that regardless if Apple over- or under-performs from what Wall Street analysts expect, the stock takes a hit. Hopefully, however, a better than expected outcome will mean that the stock can climb out of its general downwards trend, and head back to the $600-$700 range that it was earlier in the year.
If you’re super-interested in this stuff, you can listen to the call yourself. Otherwise, we’ll try and bring you a cliff notes version, to make life a little easier.
