If you’re a fan of delicious foods and wondrous libations (and if you’re not, then that’s a sad life you’re leading), then rejoice in the fact that Apple has just unveiled a new section of the App Store for you. The new Food & Drink section has exactly what you’d expect from any section off the app store: top 10 apps (both paid and free); new apps (20 of them), what’s hot (120 apps), and, of course, a complete list of all the apps in this category.
As of writing this, this new category in the App Store has 1119 paid apps and 1040 free ones, which is an awfully high number of choices for the foodie in each of us.
The addition of the Food & Drink section was first rumored earlier this month, and it has taken Apple a few weeks to get it up and rolling.
